Strength Through Softening: Block Therapy at the Equinox Retreat

Strength Through Softening: Block Therapy at the Equinox Retreat

Sometimes the body holds patterns we no longer need.

Old tension. Old stories. Old ways of bracing that once kept us safe.

This spring equinox, I'm honored to share a gentle introduction to Block Therapy as part of the free (Un)Domesticated Warrior Goddess Retreat — three days dedicated to rewilding the inner landscape, clearing what’s stale, and making space for what wants to emerge.

In my session, March 20, 9am PT we explore strength that comes not from pushing harder, but from softening. Using conscious pressure, breath, and presence, we invite fascial adhesion to release and let natural flow return. It's a reminder that the body knows how to unwind when given safety and space — no forcing required.

The full retreat (hosted by HeatherAsh Amara and a circle of wise women) includes teachings on Toltec wisdom, nervous system regulation, myth & storytelling, dreaming ceremony, and practical rituals for inner and outer spring cleaning.

The full event runs
March 19, 2026  2pm PT – March 2, 2026  12pm PT
Live on Zoom; most sessions recorded for replay

You can drop in for any sessions that feel right; no need to attend everything.

This is for the woman who senses it's time to stop overriding her body and start listening instead.

Free and open-hearted.

If this resonates, the invitation is open.

Coming Home to the Body: Block Therapy Community Call

Coming Home to the Body: Block Therapy Community Call

Monday, March 24, 2026 at 1:00 pm CDT

The body holds what we’ve carried — often longer than we realize.

I’ve only just begun the Block Therapy Teacher Training.

Already I cannot imagine life without it. A daily return that softens fascia, eases the nervous system, and reminds me: strength can come from yielding, not from gripping tighter.

This call is an open invitation to experience the practice.

Monday, March 24 at 1 pm CDT
30-minute guided class with Deanna Hansen
followed by open Q&A

Drop in. Bring curiosity. Bring a friend. Bring whatever your body is holding today. No experience needed — just the willingness to be present.

 When the Fixing Ends

When the Fixing Ends

An evening of listening, reorientation, and embodied trust

Many of us arrive at healing exhausted—not because we haven’t tried hard enough, but because we’ve tried everything.
Plans. Protocols. Programs.
Experts. Advice. The next right thing.
And still, something feels unsettled.

When the Fixing Ends is a gentle, grounded invitation to pause the search and explore a different orientation to healing—one rooted in listening, timing, and trust rather than urgency and effort.

This is not a workshop or a training.
It’s an experience—one that allows your body to feel what happens when fixing softens and relationship begins.

During this live zoom gathering, we will explore:

  • Why “trying harder” often erodes trust instead of building it
  • How healing shifts when it becomes relational rather than performative
  • What it feels like in the body to stop pushing for answers
  • How listening can become a form of medicine
You’ll be guided through reflective and embodied practices designed to help you sense—not analyze—what changes when effort gives way to presence.

This is for you if:

  • You’ve tried many ways of healing and feel ready for something different
  • You sense the next step isn’t another plan, but a new relationship with yourself
  • You want to trust your body and inner knowing without rejecting good support
  • You’re open to slowing down and listening rather than fixing
This gathering is not about learning more—it’s about remembering what’s already available when we stop overriding ourselves.
