Movement

Lifestyles in society today have greatly limited our mobility, creating a sedentary lifestyle.  The human body needs motion for all the systems to properly function.  The lymphatic system (part of  our immune function) needs motion for its fluids to flow.

Movement helps with the mind and memory stimulating neural pathways.  Movement will help with more restful sleep.  Movement can quiet the mind and bring one present helping manage stress.   Movement does not need to be intense but intentional.

Sleep

Getting proper sleep is vital to overall wellbeing.  Sleep is when the body maintains, repairs and heals the bodies systems.  Proper sleep improves the immune system, memory and mental clarity, mood, energy,  stress tolerance and more.  If one is having problems falling asleep or staying asleep often simple strategies can remedy these issues such as having a regular schedule and getting to bed by 10:00 pm; or more in depth habit changes may be needed.

Supplements

Remember that a supplement is:   Something added to complete a thing, supply a deficiency, or reinforce or extend a whole.

Therefore these should not be the main focus for a change but a way to support your habits and wholeness.  Often supplementation is needed upfront to help overcome deficiencies and allow greatest healing.  They are also supportive in undergoing detoxification.  Not all supplementation is needed forever.  Use the purest source possible.
